Ocean Engineering sophomore Brian Deegan will be working with the G.A.M.E.R. Lab during the Fall 2011 term as part of his participation in Virginia Tech's Scieneering program.  The program, which is funded by a Howard Hughes Medical Institute Science Education Grant, provides undergraduate students with support and opportunities to take part in interdisciplinary research.  As an undergraduate lab associate, Mr. Deegan will be leading a laboratory research project dealing with physiological and psychological responses to technological features of commercial video games.

The Scieneering program welcomes applications from sophomores and juniors at Virginia Tech who are majoring in a science or engineering discipline.  Students can learn more about the program at its web site.
