Virginia Tech Gaming and Media Effects Research Laboratory Director James D. Ivory provided an overview of the state of games research and necessary new directions in a teleconferenced presentation to the annual Games For Change América Latina festival in São Paulo, Brazil, November 19.  Dr. Ivory's presentation was part of a three-day event held at the Museu da Imagem e do Som (Museum of Image and Sound).  The Games for Change event was organized by Gilson Schwartz of the University of São Paulo, who serves as Latin America Director of Games for Change.
